I came across a ministry named The Marketplace thanks to a friend. I paid them a visit and fell in love. They are a Christian fair-trade store located in Davidson, NC. They work with artisans and ministry groups all over the world helping to provide employment and an escape from various bad situations some underprivileged people find themselves in when bad folks take advantage. These groups help to remove the victims from their situation and provide a way out through the production of various fair-trade goods. I feel a definite pull to get involved with The Marketplace in some way, and I will pray as to how to do that.
